Meet Roberta, the trusted private chef we have chosen to exclusively curate all culinary experiences at Villa Ninetta. Born in Ostuni in 1986, Roberta grew up in the “White City” until age 18, when she moved to Milan to study foreign languages. This passion led her to Beijing, where she lived for 10 years to perfect her Mandarin—a journey that also inspired her transition into the culinary world.

Roberta began by filming short videos teaching Italian cuisine and pastry, eventually becoming the chef at the Italian Embassy School in Beijing. Her favorite part of the role was storytelling: sharing the history of Italian food, recalling childhood memories of cooking with her grandmother, and celebrating the joy of Sunday family feasts.

Returning to Italy in 2020, Roberta settled back in Ostuni. After working in culinary schools and restaurants across Puglia, she realized her true calling was personal connection. She became a private chef to engage directly with people from all over the world, bringing Villa Ninetta guests the authentic warmth and tradition of Apulian cuisine.
